Last July we took a team of 12 to Bathurst New Brunswick for a 2 week mission trip to serve at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church. This trip was a great opportunity for the youth to have a chance to experience leadership, grow in their personal faith, and form bonds with each other as they serve side-by-side.

Last years trip was a huge success and the youth made awesome connections with students from the Bathurst area. We have built a partnership with St. Luke's as we seek to support them in a setting that is rather difficult to serve in. My hope is that we can continue this partnership and continue to invest in leadership training for our students, and invest in the Gospel being lived out in the Bathurst community.

Youth group has started up for another year, and we are excited about 2012! Chazown will be happening every friday from 7pm - 10pm for grades 10 - 12, and SURF will happen on Friday from 3:30 - 5:30 for grades 7, 8, and 9!

This Friday (Jan 13th), Tom will be leading! Pastor Matt will be away for Avalanche! We will continue our new study in Spiritual Disciplines, and have more fun, games and food! Come hang out at 7pm until 10pm!

Our Junior Highs will be off to Avalanche for an awesome weekend of fun, snow, worship, and excitment! We will be leaving from the church at 5:30pm, so you must be there on time, with all your forms, and Cheque! Hope to see you there!
