Last weekend we were at Blizzard 2012. It was quite possibly the best Blizzard we had ever gone to. I had a great time connecting with the youth, the speaker was fantastic, the worship was fantastic, and we all had a good laugh over Zumba.

I wouldn't say I had one of those "climactic moments" that youth pastors often try to build into retreats to "help" youth a long their spiritual journey, but I God and I definitly had some good chats while on this retreat.

This Week @ Chazown

Youth group has started up for another year, and we are excited about 2012! Chazown will be happening every friday from 7pm - 10pm for grades 10 - 12, and SURF will happen on Friday from 3:30 - 5:30 for grades 7, 8, and 9!

This Friday (Jan 13th), Tom will be leading! Pastor Matt will be away for Avalanche! We will continue our new study in Spiritual Disciplines, and have more fun, games and food! Come hang out at 7pm until 10pm!

Our Junior Highs will be off to Avalanche for an awesome weekend of fun, snow, worship, and excitment! We will be leaving from the church at 5:30pm, so you must be there on time, with all your forms, and Cheque! Hope to see you there!

Welcome to Chazownlife.com! I am Pastor Matt, the youth pastor at Agincourt Baptist Church in Scarborough, ON. Chazown is the name of our youth ministry.To learn more about what that means, please see the about us page. I hope you enjoy the site, there is lots of stuff to see and resources for studying God's word. It is a new site, so bear with us as we are constantly adding new content.
